New Sunday Morning Bible Study
Starting Nov 17th, Digging Deeper: A Bible Study based on this week's Bible Passage, will be running weekly on Sunday mornings from 9 to 10 am in the library. Pastor James will be leading this Bible Study. Everyone is welcome!
Tuesday Evening Bible Study
A new small group is happening on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday evening of each month, 7:30 - 9:00 pm at the church. They will be having a Bible Study based on the Sunday morning theme. Sign up on the bulletin board or speak to Pastor James. Next meeting dates are on Nov 12 & 26th.
Coffee & Conversation

Fall Cleanup: Nov 16
A big thank you to those who were able to come out and help at our first Fall Cleanup. Our next Fall Cleanup Day is on Sat Nov 16, 9 am -12 pm. The main goal will be to clean the gutters and get rid of the last of the leaves. If you prefer to work inside, some extra kitchen cleaning is needed.
Social Media Volunteer
Are you tech savvy? Do you enjoy being creative on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc? We are looking for a volunteer who would like to take on the WGLC social media accounts. Please contact the church office if this interests you.
Graphic Design Volunteer
Do you enjoy creating graphic designs? We are looking for a volunteer who would be interested in doing graphic design a few times a year. Please contact the church office if you’re interested.
Soup & a Bun with Mike & Kara: Dec 3
On Tuesday Dec 3, 6-8 pm there will be a soup and bun supper and the opportunity to hear what’s happening with Canadian Lutheran Bible Translators, Mike & Kara Kuhn in Cameroon. Everyone is welcome! Please sign up on the bulletin board by Dec 1st.
Inklings Institute Event
Nov 14, 7-8:30 pm – An Inklings Institute Coffee House Event, Creative Writing and The Soul Story with Fantasy Author, J.R. Fehr. Location: Graduate Collegium, Fosmark Building, Trinity Western University.
Lunch & Laughs
Come for Lunch and Laughs if you are free on Tuesday, November 19th, 10:45 am - 1 pm. We sing a little, read the Bible for a few minutes, share some good humour, cartoons, jokes and stories, and enjoy a light lunch served to your table. A small donation helps to pay for the food. Everyone welcome! RSVP to Linda so she knows how much lunch to prepare and if you have special food requirements. The next & final gathering before Christmas will be held on Dec 10th when we will have a special Christmas luncheon.
Please join us every other Wednesday from 1 - 2 pm as we meet for prayer and turn our faces to God to seek His wholeness and guidance for our church. In the Boardroom (or library) at the church. Our youth program is a joint partnership with Fraser Point church and has started up again on Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 pm. All youth in grades 6 to 12 are welcome! To check out coming events go to their website.
Langley Gardens Bible Study
The Bible Study at Langley Gardens (8888-202 St) is on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month from 1:30-3 pm in the TV room. Everyone is welcome to join us! November dates are Nov 12 & 26th.
Gallery 7 Theatre
